Quality Assurance Lead, Devices

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading QA efforts on device development
  • Developing comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Developing and maintaining test scripts
  • Carrying out extensive manual and automated testing
  • Reporting bugs using issue tracking system
  • Verifying bug fixes
  • Lead bug reviews, fix incoming bugs and assign to the right people
  • Developing and maintaining product verification standards and procedures
  • Configuring and maintaining system configurations to support testing
  • Performing load and performance testing
  • Performing requirements verification and validation
  • Managing build system including nightly builds and release builds
  • Managing development network and testing cameras and servers
  • Providing support to pre and post sales technical support team

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience and knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical and Software Testing
  • Experience working with mechanical and  electrical design, as well as firmware development
  • Experience with Electrical testing (high-temperature, low-temperature, cold-start, ALT)
  • Experience with Mechanical testing (high-temperature, low-temperature, ALT, vibration, dust, and drop)
  • 5+ yrs. of experience with embedded platforms.
  • Test automation experience with PERL, Python or other languages.
  • Embedded Linux or RTOS, C and C++ knowledge.
