If you are ready to make an impact at one of the fastest-growing companies in security and analytics, we want to talk.

Reporting to the Director of Product Management for Analytics and Cloud Solutions, and located in our state-of-the-art offices in Somerville’s Assembly Row, the Product Manager role consists of working with the engineering team to deliver new world-class cloud-based video surveillance services offerings driven by customers, prospects, advisory teams, and internal product experts. Responsibilities also include meeting with customers, prospects, and industry analysts to discuss product requirements and the product roadmap. Responsibilities include:

  • Work very closely with development, QA, user experience, documentation and other product teams to execute the Avigilon product strategy.
  • Own and drive feature delivery end-to-end: writing epics and user stories, working with UX to create prototypes for usability testing, working with development, technical publications, and quality assurance teams to deliver a marketable product on time.
  • Drive product requirements from a customer- and user-driven approach.
  • Engage with customers for requirements gathering, feature requests, and roadmap updates.
  • Represent Avigilon as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events.

Qualifications:

  • Hardware experience desirable.
  • Exceptional critical thinking & analytical skills and the ability to make informed & fast decisions related to product feature design and direction.
  • Demonstrated experience of ‘owning’ the decision/solution.
  • Bachelors' degree, MBA, and technical disciplines preferred.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum is desirable.
