    Senior Supply Planner

    Vancouver, Canada


    Avigilon (TSX: AVO) provides trusted security solutions to the global market. Avigilon’s solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Develop and maintain the Richmond Inventory and Replenishment Plan
    • Create finish good production plan that efficiently utilizes available capacities while maintaining still hitting required delivery date (The production Plan should be based on MRP demand)
    • Manage the Richmond orders - ensure that the stock will be available in 2 business days or less to all orders
    • Work close to Logistics and Shipping to ship the orders on time
    • Have a clear communication with Customer Orders Management when a shortage or risk is identified
    • Work closely with both the Purchasing, Production and Planning Teams to proactively identify potential stock outs and determine corrective actions
    • Answer inquiries from Sales Support Team in regards to lead-times and availability of Richmond Product
    • Work with Production and Global Planning to establish short and middle term plan (Rough Cut Capacity Planning)
    • Lead the Production Planning and Control team
    • Support the Supply Planner and the Scheduler to meet their target as well as to develop them
    • Provide a weekly Production Planning and Control overview to the senior management team
    • Develop and track Supply related KPI’s
    • Be the Supply Planner and Scheduler backup


    • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience preference given to those with operations management or supply chain background
    • Minimum 5 years hands on experience and exposure to production / manufacturing environments / leadership
    • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
    • Strong computer skills and Advanced Level Excel are required
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.

    Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:

    • APICS Certification an Asset
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems, within a manufacturing environment is an asset
