    This role will be reporting to the Production Supervisor. Overtime expected from time to time on weekends. 


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Setting up equipment and changing over product
    • Leading a small team, delegating tasks, training new employees, ensuring jobs are completed and motivating members to achieve production goals and preparing production reports
    • Ensuring quality of work/product meets Company standards by quality checks, printing labels, problem solving, and coordinating with department Supervisors
    • Complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Avigilon’s Quality System
    • Adhering to and ensuring employees, visitors and contractors are following Company safety policies and work procedures 
    • Communicating with the shift Supervisor, making requests for materials, and reporting issues; coordinating with the AM/PM Team Lead and providing necessary updates
    • Coordinating with other Team Leads/Supervisors and providing regular status updates
    • Maintaining a situational awareness of the status of the production floor
    • Maintaining a clean working environment
    • Attending meetings as necessary
    • Participating in routine manufacturing/warehouse activities
    • Other duties as assigned



    • High School Diploma or GED preferred


    • One year experience in manufacturing/warehouse and/or a Team Lead position is preferred

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Self-motivated and able to multitask and manage time in a fast pace environment
    • A positive attitude while leading others and ensuring work is performed in a safe and respectful manner
    • Abiding by Company guidelines and procedures
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills 
    • Ability to use arithmetic to perform production related calculations
    • Available to work overtime and weekend shifts when necessary
