    The Product Quality Team is responsible for upholding the quality of all Avigilon products. These products can range from software features, web applications, video analytics, mobile applications, hardware appliances, and more! We are a multidisciplinary team of test developers that support the testing needs of a product from prototype to release.

    As a Test Developer for mobile applications, you are familiar with the entire mobile ecosystem including the Android/iOS operating systems, mobile test automation, and mobile test tools. You will be working closely with the mobile developers to create test plans for upcoming features and be the gatekeeper for Avigilon's mobile products.
    You will drive the TDD process from within the team and liaise between several product development teams and product managers to ensure accuracy of process and requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, design, document, and perform tests for software products
    • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for software products
    • Design and develop tools to facilitate testing
    • Identify, reproduce, and report product defects
    • Model and characterize product performance and scalability metrics
    • Create and maintain documentation on test and development operations
    • Liaise between product development teams to ensure accuracy of processes and product quality
    • Design and develop internal tools to improve process efficiency


    • Has a degree or diploma in a computing, engineering, science, or math discipline
    • Has 1-5 years of demonstrated experience in a testing environment
    • Has Experience with Appium/Selenium for mobile and web test automation
    • Familiar with network packet sniffer tool such as WireShark and Charles
    • Experience with testing on Android and iOS.
    • Has experience with object-oriented programming, and test automation frameworks
    • Is familiar in: C#, Python, shell scripting, JavaScript
    • Has the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
    • Has excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, and analytical skills
    • Has experience testing in both Windows and Linux environments
