    Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications

    Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Avigilon Corporation (“Avigilon”), the Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable, passionate and is highly customer focused and efficient. The core objective of this position is to build brand awareness and support lead generation.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Build, motivate and mentor a passionate, creative, and high-performing marketing team
    • Oversee the execution on marketing activities on time and within assigned budget
    • Manage the execution of tradeshows
    • Oversee the management of logistics and planning for quarterly media, analyst and advisor presentations for the Executive team
    • Oversee the management of Avigilon website
    • Create and manage sales support initiatives
    • Manage all marketing consultants & subcontractors
    • Developed strategy for tracking and reporting around Return on Marketing Investment
    • Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness
    • Support Investor Relations and communication efforts
    • Develop and manage advertising campaigns to maximize brand awareness

     

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum 5-10 years of marketing experience in a technology industry
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field
    • Experience in brand management and demand generation in a highly competitive environment
    • Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
    • Strategic thinking and ability to define and pursue high level objectives
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing work product quality
    • Ability to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work with and collaborate with cross-functional groups within and outside the organization
    • Ability to lead and mentor direct reports
    • Attention to detail and organization skills

     

    Other

    • Some travel will be required during the execution of the duties of the Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications
    • Avigilon may allocate such additional or other duties of work as informed to the Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications by the Chief Operating Officer from time to time as necessary to meet the Avigilon business needs
