    Senior Software Engineer, Sensors and Platforms

    • Apply a broad and diverse understanding of systems with expertise in software engineering
    • Understand and leverage the latest emerging technologies to create proof-of-concept prototypes and innovate exciting new products
    • Participate in system and software design, documentation, development, testing and demos



    • 5+ years of software engineering, software design and architecture
    • Expertise in C++ programming
    • Practical experience in Python, Java or other high-level languages
    • Experience developing object oriented and multi-threaded applications
    • Understanding of embedded design considerations including memory management, microprocessor architectures, and I/O timing
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to succeed in a diverse, multi-discipline, team-based collaborative environment
    • Innate curiosity with a passion for learning and applying new technologies
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.


    Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience: 

    • Experience in computer vision and using computer vision libraries such as OpenCV
    • Experience working with sensors (image sensors, 3D depth sensors, RADAR, LiDAR, Ultrasound etc.)
    • Hands-on experience in prototyping systems that include hardware, software and networking
    • Expertise in integrating open source software and libraries
    • Cross-compiling for multiple target architectures
    • Embedded inter-device communications
