    Video Marketing Coordinator

    Vancouver, Canada


    At Avigilon we are helping solve some of the biggest challenges around safety and physical security by developing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and products that are used to help keep people, businesses, and cities around the world safer. 


    Responsibilities include:


    • Assist with every stage of creative video development (script, storyboard, production and editing)
    • Optimize videos for sharing on social channels, emails, sales presentations and general outreach
    • Create engaging and effective videos and work with the wider marketing team to optimize video distribution to build the Avigilon brand, align with cross-departmental campaign strategy, reach more viewers and generate leads
    • Track viewership and engagement metrics to propose and execute new strategies and tactics to continuously improve upon video performance
    • Coordinate production shoots by scheduling locations, equipment and various stakeholders as needed
    • Assist with managing the overall video editorial calendar
    • Assist with the management of our YouTube channel and its publishing and content strategy
    • Support with shoot preparation, equipment setup and studio management
    • Ensure proper backups and archives are made for all video assets including b-roll, project files and final exports




    • Corporate video production and editing experience, including a focus on product marketing
    • Proven experience creating videos for YouTube and other social media platforms
    • Degree or experience in digital film & video, marketing and/or a related field
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
    • Self-starter who is meticulous, organized and creative and can juggle several projects at the same time
    • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required
    • Must be comfortable using DSLRs and/or mirrorless camera systems
    • Experience using video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro)
